Whatsoever you desire when you pray.

St. Mark 11:24

Focus verse: VS24

Prior to this Jesus spoke to the fig tree and the disciples were amaze when he curses it to dry up and it dried up.   These are the things he said to them when the saw that the fig tree dried up:

22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

  • Have faith in God
  • Speak to your mountain
  • Command it to move out of your way
  • Tell the mountain to move but you need to tell the mountain where to go.
  • It will not move unless you believe fully without doubt in your heart (why the heart)
  • Believe what was spoken shall come to pass
  • We shall have what was spoken

Context:

  • Whatever we desire
  • When we pray – are we praying about our hearts desire
  • If we believe that we receive it then we shall have it.

Note:  Pray to only receive our hearts desire if it is inline with Gods’ purpose and will.
